Solar generator comprises several solar cells (2) mounted at a distance from each other on a support (6) and covered with sealing layers (1) on at least the side facing away from the support material. Conducting layers (5) are applied to the sealing layers and there is at least one gap between each solar cell and the neighboring solar cells. Preferred Features: At least one of the gaps per solar cell is filled at least along a part of its length between neighboring solar cells with a conducting adhesive (3) from the support material up to the conducting layers. The conducting layers (5) cover at least partial regions of the surfaces (8) of the sealing layers facing away from the solar cells. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing the solar generator.
