摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems of a conventional pulse compression device: that a sidelobe in frequency direction occurs in a complex vector because of A/D conversion offsets included in a digital I/Q video and the stability of a transceiver, affecting the detection of the speed of an atmospheric echo; and that the offsets and noise levels vary depending on the conditions of the transceiver and an A/D converter, making it difficult to correct offsets according to conditions during observation. SOLUTION: This radar pulse compression device includes a first coded pulse compressor for demodulating a modulated signal of the digital I/Q video in a noise range; an offset calculating means for calculating the amount of A/D conversion offsets on the basis of the output of the pulse compressor; a delay memory for delaying the digital I/Q video during the period needed to complete this calculation; a subtracter for subtracting the amount of A/D conversion offsets from the delayed video; and a second coded pulse compressor for demodulating the digital I/Q video from which the amount of A/D conversion offsets has been subtracted.</p>
