<p>PURPOSE: To provide the title apparatus capable of efficiently accelerating the discharge of the gas in the ground of a landfill site by relatively simple constitution and neutralizing the gas in the ground by chemical reaction to immobilize the same in the ground to suppress the formation thereof. CONSTITUTION: A gas treatment apparatus is equipped with the suction pipe 2 arranged in the ground W of a waste landfill site so as to communicate with the open air and the exhaust pipe 3 arranged in the ground W of the waste landfill site in close vicinity to the suction pipe 2 and raised up to a position higher than the suction pipe 2. A gas sending means sending oxidizing gas and/or basic gas into the ground W of the waste landfill site under pressure through the suction pipe 2 is further provided. An exhaustion accelerating means is further provided to the exhaust pipe.</p> |
