A compound containing at least one repeating unit represented by the following formula (1) and at least one repeating unit represented by the following formula (2), a light emitting device material comprising the compound, and a light emitting device containing the light emitting device material:wherein R1 and R2 represent each a substituent; Ar1 and Ar2 represent each an arylene linking group or a heteroarylene linking group; R3 and R4 represent each a hydrogen atom or a substituent; R5 and R6 represent each a substituent; and m and n are each an integer of from 0 to 3.
