PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a joined structural body having high joining strength and hardly causing the degradation of thermal conductivity in the joined part by applying a paste essentially consisting of aluminum nitride on the joining faces of aluminum nitride green compacts and then adhering closely and sintering them. SOLUTION: A joining face of at least one or more aluminum nitride green compacts comprising an aluminum nitride powder and an org. binder is coated with a paste prepared by adding a vehicle to the same aluminum nitride powder to obtain 40-85wt.% solid density and 10000-150000cP, and is subjected to aeration. Then the green compacts are joined on the joining faces. The joined green compact is dried, degreased and sintered at 1700-1950 deg.C in a nonoxidizing atmosphere. The thermal conductivity measured through the joining part of the joining structural body is >95% of the thermal conductivity of the base body and the three-point bending strength around the joining surface is >20Kg/mm<2> . |
