PURPOSE: To obtain a surface-mounting equipment where a part sucking nozzle member is moved in a vertical direction by an air cylinder, wherein the nozzle member is properly controlled in a vertical motion at a time when a part is stucked and mounted corresponding to the type of the electronic part sucked by the nozzle member. CONSTITUTION: An ascent/descent drive speed changing means composed of control valves 55, 56, 58, and 59, and switching valves 57 and 60 assigned for high-speed descent, low-speed descent, high-speed ascent, and low-speed ascent, respectively is provided to an air suction/exhaust system provided for an air cylinder 25 which drives a part suction nozzle member in a vertical direction, and the ascent/descent drive speed changing means is controlled by a control unit 61 corresponding to a part sucked by the nozzle member. |
