<p>Dental bleaching composition (I) comprises: (a) 5-85 wt.% of a dental bleaching agent; (b) sucralose as sole non-nutritive sweetening agent in an amount sufficient to disguise any bitter taste of the bleaching agent; and (c) a liquid or gel carrier. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a dental bleaching composition (II) comprising: (a) 5-85 wt.% of a dental bleaching agent; (b) sucralose in an amount sufficient to disguise any bitter taste of the bleaching agent; and (c) an abrasive-free carrier comprising a sticky, viscous gel containing an organic polymer thickening agent and/or a finely divided particulate thickening agent; (2) a method for bleaching a person's teeth, comprising contacting the teeth with (I) for a desired treatment period; (3) a method for bleaching a person's teeth, comprising placing (II) in a dental tray designed to fit over the person's teeth without exerting significant mechanical pressure on the teeth, and placing the dental tray over the person's teeth, where the composition is able to adhere and retain the dental tray in place over the teeth for a desired treatment period.
