The cooled installation (1) is for the conversion of solar radiation into electrical energy and comprises a frame (2) supporting conversion components (3) and devices for their cooling. The cooling devices (6) conduct a flow of cooling medium, preferably air, along the conversion components and can form components of a system for the ventilation of a room (14). The conversion components are photo-voltaic cells. The ventilation system has at least one first suction aperture (7,9) for ambient air and at least one blow-out aperture (8) issuing into the room to be ventilated. The cooling devices are fitted between the first suction aperture and the first blow-out aperture.
