The bait (1) is made from a mixture of seafood products (5) such as fish waste, with attractants (4) such as green crab, packed into skins (2) with perforations (3). The contents can also include soya protein to help the mixture to gel, and Viandox (RTM) (8). The skins can be naturally permeable, made from a degradable material, or in the form of collagen skins used for sausages. The bait is made by weighing the different products, grinding them separately before mixing, packing into skins (11) and closing at both ends before perforating, making portions that vary from 160 - 250 grams.
