A roller shutter for a window or door has the shutter elements wound onto a support roller inside a box fitted into the wall. The box also houses a smaller roller for an extending awning which is deployed outside the window/door opening. The awning is fitted with support braces which can be adjusted to hold the awning at different angles. A variation has the awning ducted partway down the same feed at the roller shutter and then extending outwards to provide the selected amount of shade. |
