DEVICE FOR STRAIGHTENING CAR BODY COMPONENTS

The invention relates to a device for straightening car body components and aims in particular at straightening damaged curved car body components. To this end the device has pull hooks (10-18) which are held at the level of a recess (2) and apply tensile forces to a retaining device (25) fixed to the car body component (35) to be straightened. The pull hooks can be fixed in the recess in more than one position so that specific straightening geometries can be assigned to corresponding positions of the pull hooks. By means of the tensile forces acting on the retaining device via the pull hooks the damaged curved car body component is straightened.
