A rocking and chaise lounge chair (20) of the type having an elongate rectangular longitudinally flexible seat (174) supported at opposite ends by a pair of oppositely inclined, diagonally disposed frames (40, 42). Each frame (40, 42) is pivotally interconnected with the other (40, 42) at the sides of each intermediate the ends thereof by pairs of upper and of lower siderails (110, 112) with one frame (40, 42) nesting within the other such that the chair (20) may be folded into a compact unit for storage. An optional fold-out footrest frame (44) nests within the other frames (110, 112) to act as a back support when the chair (20) is used without the footrest frame (44) deployed and which forms a chaise lounge chair (20) with an optional extra-long backrest to footrest flexible seat (344). |
