The invention concerns a set of femoral stems comprising a stem (1) designed to be impacted in a bone cavity with cement and a stem (2) designed to be impacted in said cavity without cement. The invention is characterized in that the cross-section of each of the stems (1) and (2) is different and determined to enable their being set after passing a single file which is identical in dimension to the cement-free stem (2) whereof the cross-section is determined to ensure immediate self-locking following impingement; the stem (1) designed to be impacted with cement, is self-centered in the metaphyseal part through a portion at the cervical section identical in front and saggital dimensions to the file and centered in the metaphyseal part by a closure plug (3), said stem (1) including a central through channel (1a) for injecting the cement and its discharge outside to fill the space between the stem and the bone.
