<p>A composite thin film holding substrate including a substrate (1) and a composite thin film (4) consisting of a filler (2) having a refractive index lower than that of the substrate (1) and a binder having a refractive index higher than that of the filler (2). Light passing through the composite thin film (4) consisting of the filler (2) and the binder (3) having different refractive indexes is effectively scattered. Moreover, the composite thin film (4) containing the filler (2) having a low refractive index has a low refractive index. As a result, the light passing through the composite thin film (4) can be extracted outside from the substrate (1) with a high efficiency.</p> |
