A method and apparatus for continous, noninvasive, hemodynamic monitoring, comprising; receiving a signal related to pressure pulsations in a patient’s artery; processing said signal, at least in part in the frequency domain, to obtain pressure and flow waveforms, and a composite phase lag between peaks in the pressure and flow waveforms.
