The invention relates to a method for reconditioning rollers for the production of rolling mill products. According to the inventive method, the rollers are reconditioned following or during use, by treatment of the surface thereof. One such method is significantly improved in terms of related down time and costs by the fact that the surface of the roller is treated by means of a liquid jet and the hydrostatic pressure during the production of the jet is set to between approximately 50 and 250 Mpa, preferably between 70 and 150 MPa. |
