A composition for use as a self−locking agent which comprises an aqueous dispersion comprising(a)a polyamide powder being insoluble or slightly soluble in water,(b)an isocyanate compound,(c)a surfactant and(d)a water−soluble polyamide which are dissolved or dispersed therein.The composition allows the formation of a polyamide resin layer exhibiting improved smoothness of its surface,the improvement of production efficiency through shortening of the time for heating and melting,and the improvement of the precision in resin coating processing through the prevention of slippage and sagging.
