发明名称 TRAFFIC PATH DECIDING METHOD FOR MULTI-CASTING IN MULTI-PROTOCOL LABEL SWITCHING NETWORK
摘要 PURPOSE: A traffic path deciding method for multi-casting in an MPLS(Multi-Protocol Label Switching) network is provided to decide two trees for single point-to-multipoint connection, and to optimally divide and allocate traffic demands to the trees, using a source-based method not a receiver-based method. CONSTITUTION: The first network, in which links currently having traffic transmittable reserve capacity less than current traffic demands are removed from entire links between nodes of a communication network, is generated(S401). Distance information values for each link of the first network are calculated based on information on current traffic flows in the corresponding link and the traffic demands(S402). The first LST(Label Switched Tree) is decided based on the calculated distance information values(S403). Whether to disjoint traffic paths is decided(S404). If not, the second network in which flows for each link on the first LST are regarded as the traffic demands is generated from the first network, and the third network composed of links only having reserve capacity over 0(zero) in the links of the second network is generated(S405-1). And if disjointing traffic paths is decided in the step S404, the forth network in which links the first LST passes in the first network are removed is generated, and the fifth network composed of links only having reserve capacity over0(zero) in the links of the fourth network is generated(S405-2). The second LST is decided based on distance information values for each link of the third or fifth network from the calculated distance information values(S406). The traffic demands are distributed and allocated then transmitted on the first and second LSTs(S407).
