PURPOSE: A character name card producing method in a mobile terminal is provided to distinctively show one's identity to the other party and express a screen image diversely to a user's taste. CONSTITUTION: A controller is in a standby state(200). The controller checks whether there is a key event(205). If there is a key event, the controller checks whether the key event is a character name card producing mode key input signal(210). If the key event is the character name card producing mode key input signal, the controller checks whether there is a character select key input signal(220). If there is the character select key input signal, the controller checks whether the signal is a key input signal for selecting a character(230). If the signal is the key input signal for selecting a character, the controller reads a phone number, name, an office name stored in a memory and combines them with the selected character(240). The controller stores the combined character name card in the memory(270).
