PURPOSE: A method and a system for providing the information related to living using a computer are provided to enable a user to freely use a telephone call through the Internet by storing the information for local companies and organizations, and the public information in a data storing medium, and installing it to the computer. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of client computers(100) stores the data stored in the data storing medium(200). An information server related to living(104) connects with the client computer(100) through the network, includes the user information and a telephone call management program, updates the information data stored in the client(100) by storing and updating the information for the companies and organizations, the public information and the geographic information, and manages a telephone call history of the client computer(100). A call server(106) connects the telephone call with a receiver telephone(112) based on a telephone number requested by the client computer(100) and the life information server(104). A VoIP(Voice over Internet Protocol) server realizes the telephone call between the client computer(100) and the receiver telephone(112) on the Internet by using an Internet protocol.
