Also provided is a method for delivery of benzatropine mesylate to a patient comprising administering to the patient a composition comprising a polypeptide and benzatropine mesylate covalently attached to the polypeptide. Also provided is a method for protecting benzatropine mesylate from degradation comprising covalently attaching it to a polypeptide. Also provided is a method for controlling release of benzatropine mesylate from a composition comprising covalently attaching it to the polypeptide.
