PURPOSE: An oil pump of a continuously variable transmission is provided to improve lubrication between a slave gear and an inner surface of a housing by preventing wear and stick. CONSTITUTION: An oil pump of a continuously variable transmission includes a housing(200); a driving gear(210) and a slave gear(220). The housing is a tubular type and has a discharge port(240) and a suction port(230). The discharge port is connected to a valve body. The suction port is connected to an oil pan. The driving gear is installed inside the housing and rotated to the predetermined direction by external power. The slave gear contacts the driving gear inside the housing. Oil grooves(222) are formed to an outer peripheral surface of the slave gear at predetermined intervals. Therein, wear and stick are not generated because oil grooves make lubrication against relatively heavy load without breaking an oil film. Consequently, performance of the oil pump is improved by preventing oil leaking through wear. |
