PURPOSE: A shutter operating system is provided to economize in driving energy by making the use of low-strength and lightweight shutters possible and to simplify a structure and to decrease working noise. CONSTITUTION: The shutter operating system comprises: a flexible shutter(10) moved vertically between the closing location and the opening location to open and close an entrance and provided with bendable guide blocks(13,14) attached along one side of both edges; guide channels(20,30) provided with a channel body(23) formed respectively on both edges of an entrance to form longitudinal space, fixed blocks(21,31) fixed to the channel body and provided with an inclined groove, and movable blocks(22,32) forming a guide passage of a guide block together with an inclined groove; a shifter moving the movable blocks to open and close the guide passage; a driving roller assembly ascending a shutter to the opening location or descending to the closing location; and a winding roller winding the ascended shutter.
