<p>Disclosed is an auxiliary starter agent (1) for internal combustion engines, especially a sheathed element glow plug which requires little space when built into the cylinder head. The auxiliary starter agent (1) comprises means (25) for inserting the auxiliary starter agent (1) into the opening (5) of a wall (10) of a combustion chamber (15), especially in the region of a cylinder head (20). The means (25) for inserting the auxiliary starting agent (1) are disposed on the combustion chamber, whereby the auxiliary starting agent (1) can only be inserted into the opening (5) or removed therefrom (5) via the combustion chamber (15).</p> |
