PURPOSE: A method for automatically displaying a broadcasting information guide in a digital television is provided to inform a digital television watcher of broadcasting information of another channel or next broadcasting order without operating an extra key or a remote controller. CONSTITUTION: It is set whether EPG(Electronic Program Guide) data is automatically displayed one minute before a program on the air is terminated(300). A digital television receives a transmitting signal notifying 'one minute before ending time'(310). A time one minute before ending time is calculated by searching broadcast ending time(322-324). It is checked whether 'next broadcast order' is set up(350). If so, the next broadcast order is displayed on an OSD(On Screen Display) screen(360). If not, broadcasting information of another channel is displayed on the OSD screen(362). |
