<p>A transmission/reception system (1) and a mobile receiver (4) inform users of easy-to-understand information on whether or not a mobile receiver such as a cell phone can receive service spatially and timewise. The transmission/reception system (1) comprises a transmission source (2) for sending data or contents-containing information in limited time zones, and a mobile receiver (4) for receiving transmission information from the transmission source, wherein the transmission source (2) sends information that no transmission is serviced in time zones in which data or contents-containing information is not sent, and the mobile receiver (4) extracts information that no transmission is serviced from transmission information from the transmission source (2). The mobile receiver (4), on extracting no-transmission information from transmission information from the transmission source (2), invalidates an operating means that displays corresponding data or contents-containing information.</p> |
