<p>It is intended to provide a method of detecting factors for hypertension involving the step of detecting polymorphisms whereby the expression of guanylate cyclase in the upstream sequence of the initiation point of GC-A gene can be lowered. The polymorphisms in the upstream sequence of the initiation point include a polymorphism in the number of repetitive CTs around -300 region and a polymorphism of the substitution of A by G in the -549 region.</p> |
