<p>PURPOSE: A hip joint center identifying instrument 2 for an artificial knee joint replacement technique is provided to easily identify the position of the center of a hip joint during an operation and utilize it to the artificial knee joint replacement technique. CONSTITUTION: A rod linked to a point fixed on a space and the distal region of a femur via a universal joint is changed in length during a hip joint movement. When the length is the smallest, the rod can be utilized as an index of the artificial knee joint replacement technique using the characteristic that the rod is the mechanical axis of the lower limbs.</p> |
