PURPOSE: A connecting rod apparatus of a hermetic reciprocating compressor is provided to compensate mis-alignment between a crankshaft and a piston. CONSTITUTION: A connecting rod apparatus includes a bush(20) joined to an eccentric part(6a) of a crankshaft(6) to rotate, and having a coupling part(23) protrusively formed on a periphery thereof and having a pair of sloping surfaces; a connecting rod(30) having a small inside diameter(35) formed on one end thereof to be joined to a piston pin(11) joined to a piston, and a joining part(33) formed on the other end thereof and joined to a protrusion part(25) in an axial direction along with the sloping surfaces; and a coupling member(40) coupling the joining part and the bush to be moved by external force.
