A dispenser for dispensing a medicament comprising a canister for housing the medicament and a fluid propellant therefor and a drug-dispensing valve wherein one or more of the internal surfaces of the canister and/or valve comprises a fluorinated coating prepared from plasma polymerisation of one or more fluorinated monomers selected from the group consisting of CH2FCF3 and C3F6 is disclosed. Such a coating provides a highly fluorinated coating which prevents adhesion of drug particles to the internal surfaces of the canister and/or valve.
