PURPOSE: A station passage prevention apparatus is provided to prevent accident by permitting the engineman to stop the train at the predetermined station without causing an operational error. CONSTITUTION: A station passage prevention apparatus comprises a power unit(16); a central processing unit(2) for processing train operating information; a bus unit(6) connected to the central processing unit; a stop station information input card unit(14) for inputting stop station operating information; a memory unit(12) for receiving information from the stop station information input card unit so as to compare train operating information, and transmitting the information to the central processing unit through the bus unit; an input/output unit(10) for inputting/outputting the train operating information to/from the central processing unit through the bus unit; a screen unit(4) for displaying the data processed by the central processing unit; a tachometer(20) for measuring speed of train such that the central processing unit measures the distance between stations; a signal transmitting unit(22) for transmitting a stop signal to the engineman through the input/output unit; and a door operation sensing unit(18) for sensing opening/closure of the train door upon stoppage of the train, and generating signals such that the information of the next station is updated in the central processing unit.
