PURPOSE: A mobile communication terminal mounting a card-type battery therein is provided to include a slot-shape battery insertion groove in a side of a body, and to insert a battery having a thin plate form in the battery insertion groove, so as to efficiently utilize each external part of the body and commonly use the battery regardless of terminal models. CONSTITUTION: A keypad(110) includes a plurality of key buttons on the front of a body(100). A transmitting part(120) includes a microphone. A small LCD(Liquid Crystal Display)(130) outputs and displays data. A receiving part(140) includes a speaker. A battery insertion groove(150) having a slot shape is arranged in the side of the body(100). A card-type battery(200) has a plate form and includes a plurality of battery terminals(210). The card-type battery(200) is inserted in the battery insertion groove(150) formed in the side of the body(100). And the small LCD(130) generally displays necessary information as to a call or simple information as to use of the keypad(110).
