PURPOSE: A deflection yoke is provided to allow for stable correction of distortion on the screen, while achieving improved workability and productivity by permitting the coil winding process to be easily carried out. CONSTITUTION: A deflection yoke comprises a coil separator having an inner surface on which a horizontal deflection coil for forming a horizontal deflection magnetic field is arranged; a ferrite core(14) arranged at the outer surface of the coil separator, and made of a magnet for reinforcement of magnetic field; a vertical deflection coil wound at a predetermined angle over the inner and outer surfaces of the coil separator, and which forms a vertical deflection magnetic field; and a dispersion prevention unit arranged at both ends of the ferrite core where the vertical deflection coil is bent, and which prevents dispersion of the coil during winding of the vertical deflection coil. The dispersion prevention unit includes grooves(g1,g2) formed at a constant spacing.
