PURPOSE: A device for realizing twin pictures of a video display device is provided to reduce the manufacturing cost and improve the quality of pictures by receiving two different video signals through one scaler. CONSTITUTION: A first A/D converting part(10) and a second A/D converting part(20) convert a main picture signal and a sub-picture signal into digital signals. A scaler(30) reads the converted main picture video signal for adjusting resolution of the main picture video signal. A memory(40) temporarily stores the converted main picture video signal and the sub-picture video signal. A video mixing part(50) reads the main picture video signal and the sub-picture video signal for mixing the main picture video signal and the sub-picture video signal. A control part controls the scaler and the memory so that the main picture video signal and the sub-picture video signal have a horizontal resolution half as much as a preliminarily set horizontal resolution, and a vertical resolution as much as a preliminarily set vertical resolution. |
