PURPOSE: A doctor blade is provided to secure improved quality and productivity by forming a middle layer based on a quasi-crystal material while making an anti-abrasion effect with increased life span. CONSTITUTION: A doctor blade is made by forming a middle layer(3) on a steel strip(1), and coating the middle layer with a ceramic film(2). The middle layer(3) is formed with an alloy containing aluminum as a main component for forming thermodynamically stable quasi-crystals, such as Al-Cu-Fe-Si, and Al-Cu-Fe-Si-B. Specifically, the middle layer(3) is formed with 50 wt.% of Al, 20 wt.% of Cu, 15 wt.% of Fe, and 15 wt.% of Si. Alternatively, the middle layer(3) may be formed with 50 wt.% of Al, 20 wt.% of Cu, 15 wt.% of Fe, 12 wt.% of Si, and 3 wt.% of B.
