SINTERED BEARING AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A sintered bearing capable of minimizing friction resistance between shaft and sintered bearing by maintaining contact area between the shaft and bearing to the minimum with one sintered bearing only, and a method for manufacturing the sintered bearing is provided. CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing sintered bearing comprises a step (S103) of forming mixed metal powder into a formed body having inner and outer diameters in a way that large and small diameter parts are formed at the outer diameter; a step (S105) of manufacturing a sintered body by sintering the formed body; a step (S107) of machining a sizing hole on a metallic pattern so that large diameter part having a larger diameter than the large diameter part of the sintered body, middle diameter part that is larger than the small diameter part of the sintered body, but smaller than the large diameter part thereof and small diameter part having a smaller diameter than the smaller diameter part of the sintered body are sequentially formed in the sizing hole; a step (S109) of forming first shaft supporting part at the inner diameter of the sintered body by forcibly pressing the sintered body into the middle diameter part of the sizing hole so that the large diameter part of the sintered body is compressed; and a step (S111) of forming second shaft supporting part at the inner diameter of the sintered body by forcibly pressing the sintered body into the small diameter part of the sizing hole so that the small diameter part of the sintered body is compressed.
