ACRYL RESIN COMPOSITION FOR BLOCKING UV LIGHT AND ACRYL PAINT CONTAINING THE SAME

PURPOSE: Provided are a UV blocking acryl resin composition and an acryl paint containing the same, which prevent the degradation of physical property for the coating by inhibiting polymer chain breakdown due to photo-oxidation and hydrolysis reaction. The paint composition prolongs the billboard life by preventing yellowing and discoloring of the ink in the photographic paper. CONSTITUTION: The composition comprises: 100wt.% of mixed monomers containing acryl monomer; 80-97wt.% of acryl monomer without α-hydrogen represented by formula: CH2=C(CH3)-CO-OZ; and 3-20wt.% of vinyl versatate monomer. The paint composition is composed of 60-70wt.% of the UV blocking acryl resin composition as a binder to 100wt.% of the paint containing solvent, antifoaming agent, smoothing agent and other additives such as 5-15wt. of UV stabilizer and 2-4wt.% of anti-oxidant. In the formula, Z is C1-C10 hydrocarbons.
