METHOD FOR CONTROLLING SHAPE OF COLD ROLLED STRIP USING NEURAL NETWORK

PURPOSE: A method for controlling shape of cold rolled strip using neural network is provided to perform real time shape controlling by down-loading a controller using artificial neural network techniques in the cold rolled process into online PLC. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises a step of learning a neural network emulator for modeling nonlinear shape control dynamic characteristics of rolling mill using nonlinear learning function of the neural network; a step of learning a neural network controller(41) using the learning completed neural network emulator; and a step of performing real time shape control in the PLC by down-loading the learned neural network controller into a PLC(13).
