<p>A light source device capable of manually/automatically adjusting the intensity of illumination light for illuminating an object is provided, the set adjustment value of the light source which is set when using an endoscope (11) is stored, the stored previously set adjustment value is compared with the threshold when the drive power source is turned off to use the endoscope (11) again. A stop (26) is set so that the set adjustment value may be a predetermined value if the previously set adjustment value is larger than the threshold, and the stop (26) is set so that the adjustment value may be the previously set adjustment value if the previously set adjustment value is smaller than the threshold.</p> |
