INFORMATION STORING MEDIUM RECORDING MARKUP DOCUMENT AND AV DATA, METHOD FOR RECORDING AND PLAYING THE SAME, AND PLAYING DEVICE

PURPOSE: An information storing medium recording a markup document and AV(Audio/Video) data, a method for recording and playing the same, and a playing device are provided to play the AV data and the markup document on an interactive mode and display it in various ways according to a resolution and a display aspect ratio set by a user or a play device. CONSTITUTION: The device includes a reader(1), an AV decoder(2), a presentation engine(3) and a blender(4). The reader(1) provides the AV decoder(2) and the presentation engine(3) by reading the AV data, the markup document and the screen synthesis information from an optical disk(100). The presentation engine(3) respectively transfers a decoding command and a display command to the AD decoder(2) and the blender(4) after analyzing the screen synthesis information, and provides a markup document screen to the blender(4). The AV decoder(2) decodes the AV data and outputs it to the blender(4) according to the decoding command. The blender(4) displays the markup document screen and the AV screen according to the display command.
