PURPOSE: A defects inspecting apparatus for a glass bottle is provided to precisely inspect defects of a mouth section and a screw section of the glass bottle by installing a CCD camera in parallel to the screw section of the glass bottle. CONSTITUTION: White LEDs(31') are accommodated in first and second electric light plates in order to precisely inspect a damage or a breakage on the surface of a transparent glass bottle(G'). Illumination of white light(L') generated from the white LEDs(31') is about 750 to 850 lux. A fourth CCD camera(90) is installed at one side of a first CCD camera(40) such that the fourth CCD camera(90) is opposite to the surface screw section of the transparent glass bottle(G'). The fourth CCD camera(90) is arranged in parallel to the surface screw section of the transparent glass bottle(G').
