PURPOSE: A method for testing the performance of an application or a service through message analysis is provided to analyze various services processed by a plurality of applications executed in systems, and to collect and analyze information on network, system, application, thread or process, message, etc. generated upon service processing, so as to test and analyze the performance of applications already developed or being developed. CONSTITUTION: User data are registered(707). The registered user data are decoded to form an information DB(702). If a job to be performed by the user such as performance analysis or test is selected(703), messages on network or on IPC(Inter Process Communication) are captured(704). Each message is decoded and analyzed using the formed information DB(705). Results of statistics processing and performance analysis performed for the messages are displayed in text, graph or table, and outputted in a report type(706). Whether the user selects a stop is decided(707). If not, the step 704 is returned, and if the user selects a stop, the steps are ended.
