PURPOSE: A brake lamp for a vehicle is provided to confirm easily an operation of the brake for a rear vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A brake lamp for a vehicle includes a housing(10); a bulb(20); a reflecting mirror(30) and a lens(40). The housing is installed to a panel(50) of a vehicle body in a rear portion of the vehicle. The housing is synthetic resin. The bulb is installed to a center of the housing. The bulb is attachable and detachable. The aluminum coating layer(30a) is added to a surface of the reflecting mirror. Aluminum coating layers are added to an aluminum layer at intervals. The reflecting mirror is installed to an inner surface of the housing. The lens is installed to the housing. The lens amplifies light from the bulb. Thereby, reflectivity is offset by different reflectivity of the aluminum layer and the aluminum coating layer. Therein, misrecognition for lighting the brake lamp is prevented when a brake is not operated.
