<p>A wheelchair hoist has a horizontal hoist platform supported on a self stabilising system comprising thrust cylinders, lifting cylinders, traverse support and retracting cylinders. The platform assumes a slightly tilting setting of 14 deg. in the lowered position and is automatically set into a horizontal position when raised above a set level. The retracting cylinders are made from cost effective square section tubing. The hoist platform is made of weight saving grid material.</p> |
