The invention relates to a rear-ventilated façade, which comprises a supporting metal double U profile which extends vertically when mounted, a center back which extending from the transverse base of the double U profile projects forward, and two lateral walls that extend in parallel and that have hooks that are open towards the top and that project beyond the lateral walls. The center back (13) has an acute, approximately V-shaped cross-section and its back faces (19, 21, 31) consist of a thin sheet metal. In its terminal sections (32, 33) the back faces verge into one transverse base half (14, 16) each. Said transverse base halves (14, 16) are identical in shape, namely they are planar strips and are aligned in the transverse direction. The strips (14, 16) are bent upward in their outer terminal sections to give lateral walls (17, 18) that are provided with the hooks (39, 41).
