<p>A security seal for a container with a pouring spout has a screw fitting cap with an elastic tag inside the cap, but outside the spout. The tag has a V-cross section and interacts with ratchet shaped tags beside the base of the spout to enable the cap to be fitted when the container is filled, with the elastic tags riding over the fixed tags. When the cap is first removed the fixed tags grip the elastic tag and pull it off the cap, via weakened tear lines. The user is able to check if the container has the original seal intact.</p> |
