Pest trap comprises a linear or annular channel (1) provided on one edge with a collar (2, 3) angled downward and on an opposite-lying edge with a roof (5) extending over the entire channel. The collar is fixed on the channel in a pointed roof manner. One side (2) of the roof is angled downward and the opposite side (3) initially runs downward then curves upward at the lower end. The collar can be positioned with either side pointing away from the channel. Preferred Features: The roof is connected to the edge of the channel by a movable connection (4) for filling the trap with bait or for removing the pests. The edge (6) of the roof protruding over the channel is angled toward the channel.
