Furniture drawer motion dampener has seal located between piston connecting rod bearings

A piece of furniture has moving parts e.g. drawers whose final stages of motion are slowed and stopped by a hydraulic motion dampener. The motion dampener has a cylinder with a moving piston and seal. The piston connecting rod (3) has two slide bearings (7, 9) within the cylinder (1). The seal (10) is esp. located between the two bearings.
