The invention relates to the use as an anti-fungal agent of a protein having at least, alpha -(1,3)-glucanase enzymatic activity, to anti-fungal compositions comprising said protein and to methods for controlling, preventing and/or treating infections caused by pathogenic fungi of plants, animals, including man, contaminants of cultures and food contaminants.
