<p>The plug part has a connector housing (2) containing a connecting pin (3) and a protective flap (4) for protecting the end of the pin. The flap can pivot and slide on an approximately linear guide path (5) on the plug housing so that it is moved from a closed position to an open position when the plug part is inserted into a socket (6). A coil spring (8) mounted on the connector housing approximately parallel to the guide path acts directly or indirectly on the flap above the plane of the guide path between the closed and open positions and biases the flap towards the closed position.</p> |
